Depth Psychology is rooted in Freudian and Jungian notions that unconscious factors affect our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. By exploring the unconscious through active imagination, dreamwork, shadow work, and soul exploration, one can better know themself. In the depth tradition, we explore the world mythopoetically, allowing us to understand and make meaning of our lives through myth, metaphor, and poetry.
