Soma is an ancient Greek word that relates to the body. Through somatic practices we understand and work with emotions as they live in the body as well as engage the body in healing efforts. These practices can be particularly helpful for people dealing with depression, anxiety , grief or trauma. By connecting with the body we are able to tap into its innate wisdom and our soul's connection to the Earth and the Cosmos. |
