 Education, Training & Experience

My practice is largely influenced by my background in experiential education, depth psychology, and trauma/crisis work, and my love of literature and the outdoors. I have extended training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and the Oaklander Play Therapy Model.

My working experience includes roles as a senior clinician on a mobile crisis team, a school-based counselor, and an educationally related mental health therapist. I hold a graduate degree in Counseling and Depth Psychology and an undergraduate degree in Comparative Literature. Before becoming a psychotherapist, I spent a decade working with adolescents and their families at an independent, outdoor, and experiential middle school.
