My practice is...
  • Welcoming of blended and non-traditional families
  • LGBTQIA+ affirming
  • HAES-affirming, welcoming of neurodiversity and body diversity, disability-aware
  • Grounded in Liberation Psychology, anti-racist, with an awareness of systemic oppressions

Education, Experience & Training

My practice is largely influenced by my background in experiential education, depth psychology, and trauma/crisis work and my love of literature and the outdoors. I am trained in Trauma-Focused CBT and Oaklander Play Therapy. My working experience includes roles as a senior clinician on a mobile crisis team, a school-based counselor, and an educationally-related mental health therapist. I hold a graduate degree in Counseling and Depth Psychology and an undergraduate degree in Comparative Literature. Before becoming a psychotherapist, I spent a decade working with adolescents and their families at an independent, outdoor, and experiential middle school.
